SCHEDULE

The District Superintendent's Office will host an orientation for teachers new to Korea at the Dragon Hill Lodge.

Aug 14th	1500-1630	Check into Dragon Hill for Daegu, Osan, Humphreys & Chinhae.
Aug 14th	1730	Social/Cultural Dinner – Meet in the DHL parking lot and depart by bus. Return is on your own.
Aug 15th	0730-0800	Registration and Coffee
	0800-1500	Orientation

Teachers traveling from Daegu, Chinhae, Humphreys and Osan will be issued travel orders. The orders will be for one night stay in Seoul. However, you will be responsible for making your own hotel reservations. Your school secretary will assist you in booking transportation to Seoul. You will be expected to travel to Seoul the morning of August 14th and be ready for the dinner bus by 1700. Your return transportation should not be booked before 4:30pm on the evening of August 15th.

NEWCOMER’S ORIENTATION

On the evening of August 14th, there will be a Social/Cultural dinner for all new teachers (includes new/local hires, transfers, and spouses). The newcomers’ orientation dinner is an opportunity to meet your new colleagues, administrators, and the District Superintendent’s Office staff. Further details will be provided.
