mcec logoThe Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that promotes partnerships and provides for networking of military installations and their supporting school districts.  Their focus is to address transition and other educational issues related to the military-connected child, including active duty, National Guard, and Reserves.  MCEC seeks to include all military installations, their supporting schools, concerned organizations, and caring individuals.

Military Teens On the Move (MTOM): This site was designed with you in mind. Maybe you’ve had to relocate a zillion times. Sometimes you’ve lived in really cool places and other times, well, maybe it wasn’t so cool. We know how difficult and stressful it can be to have to move, say goodbye to your frimtom-kidsends, switch schools, start over and all that.
MTOM for Kids: You just found out. . . you’re moving to a new place, a new home. So now what are you supposed to do? How are you supposed to feel? What is it like there? What about my friends? That‘s why MTOM for Kids is here. You are not all by yourself in this move: MTOM for Kids was developed by military kids, for military kids with real stories and good advice on how to make a move a good thing.
