Dear Parents and Students,
It is my pleasure and honor to welcome you to the “Land of the Morning Calm”. I am confident that you will find your experiences both challenging and rewarding as you transition into Korea and begin a new experience with the DoDDS-Korea district schools.
DoDDS-Korea is a high quality school district and has a premier reputation through out the DoDEA school system. It is the quality work from our teachers, students, parents and community members that has created this well-deserved reputation. This partnership is what makes DoDDS Korea work. We value our teachers, students, staff, parents and communities. DoDDS Korea students continue to score above the national average on the Terra Nova standardized test and SAT. We offer rigorous academic programs that are rooted in our standards based curriculum.
As the Superintendent, it gives me great pleasure to say that DoDDS Korea is student focused. We strive to create the best possible educational environment for our learners. Our schools create a climate and culture where students feel welcomed every day. Every one of the DoDDS Korea schools is unique, but the common thread is that each environment is one where people feel safe, supported, valued, and respected.
